Forming an LLC

There are important factors to consider when forming an LLC. Is your new business venture going to be passive or non-passive? Will your new LLC be operating in multiple states? Have you considered how you will address and report sales tax, payroll tax, etc.? All of these questions can be answered by your CPA. LLCs are not the same as an incorporated business and each has its tax advantages. Many new businesses rely on online "check the box type sites" to start their new business. Your time and money is better spent consulting with a CPA.
